Keto is not complex, and every meal does not need to be complicated. Sure you can make fancy recipes from time to time to mix it up, as shown throughout this blog, but most of my food is actually ridiculously simple and easy to make.
This is simple, cheap, filling, and perfect for keto macros.
Simply cook a pack of ground pork sausage in a skillet over medium high heat. Add in your favorite seasonings for added flavor such as (some, none, or all):
- Red pepper flakes
- Worcestershire sauce
- Turmeric (a wonderful super-food and anti-inflammatory)
- Ground mustard
For added fun, throw in a TBSP or two of butter. It makes the pork sausage even juicier and more flavorful.
Brown the sausage for 10 or 15 minutes until its to your preferred level.
Serve with sour cream (optional) and sprinkle on green onions (optional).
