Sometimes it’s fun to see how far you can go by throwing random keto ingredients together. This is an example of an experiment gone very well.

There is no recipe since this is an original creation. I browned a pound of grass-fed hamburger meat in a skillet and set aside. I then chopped up 8 pieces of bacon and cooked it in the cast iron skillet until crispy. I set the bacon aside, and then put the burger meat into the bacon fat in the cast iron skillet to coat it in extra love.

Simultaneously, I was making a white wine fondue from scratch. I first sauteed 2 cloves of fresh minced garlic in a tablespoon of coconut oil. I then added a cup of pinot grigio and simmered it for 5 minutes. On medium low heat, I slowly started adding and stirring in a variety of freshly grated cheeses including sharp cheddar, dubliner, and swiss. For a kick I added in a TBSP of blue cheese.  I then added 2 or so TBSP of cream cheese, and stirred until blended. Then added 3 tsp of lemon juice, 3 tsp of worcestershire sauce, some onion powder, pink salt and fresh cracked black pepper.

Once the fondue was complete, after I ate about 10% of it because I had to taste it, I poured the fondue over the meat that was in the cast iron skillet. I topped it with the bacon and put it under the broiler for about 3-5 minutes until sizzling. Then sprinkled with green onion and the masterpiece you see above was born.

The entire cast iron skillet ended up around 2500 calories consisting of a total of 22 carbs, about 180 grams of fat, and around 150 grams of protein. Perfect for 4 servings IMO and definitely a keto meal for those of you who only eat two meals a day.
